Reviews and Ratings
I stayed in a junior suite which was nice and spacious but perhaps a little tired-looking. The room had dated decor and lacked plug sockets next to the beds. Unfortunately, the bed being pushed against the wall made it inconvenient for two people to access from both sides, especially for older couples like us with reduced mobility, partly due to misinformation during booking.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms ranged from a lower standard to a higher suite, which was nice, but I found cigarette ends in the bathroom, red stains on the carpet, and black mold in the bathroom. One of the radiators was not working during my stay in cold December. On the bright side, the staff addressed my concerns promptly and transferred me to a more secure building without any issues.
The hotel has a great location with easy access to the centre and Haymarket train station. The rooms were on the small side and lacked cleanliness. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. The dining provided a good selection of foods but could have had more variety. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights and areas needing improvement.
The hotel's location is superb with easy access to tram, railways, and bus routes, making it convenient for exploring the city. The rooms lack modern facilities and maintenance, with issues like damaged furniture and cleanliness concerns. The dining experience was mixed, with delays and limited options. Service was subpar due to forgetful staff and missed requests, but the pricing was reasonable.
The hotel has a great location, but the rooms were old, mouldy, and had cracked ceilings and walls. On the bright side, the food was fantastic. Service was helpful but often busy, and the staff was friendly and close to nearby attractions. The location is central but can get noisy with traffic. The dining experience ranged from mediocre to incredible, with fantastic breakfast options but needing attention to decor. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives.
The hotel had spacious and very comfortable rooms, although they could have been cleaner with dust and feathers on the floor and skirting boards. The staff was extremely helpful and polite, offering friendly service throughout our stay. The location was ideal near tram and bus lines, making it perfect for exploring both the city and nearby attractions. The dining experience was highlighted by an exceptional hotel breakfast, despite some minor issues with certain food items. Overall, a good value for money hotel with some room for improvement in cleanliness and breakfast options.
